HISTORY

Constructed between 1900 and 1905, Casa Bures is the product of the impressive creativity of Francesc Berenguer, who worked closely with Gaudi during his career. Originally built for Francesc Bures, owner of one of Spain’s most successful textile companies, Casa Bures later fell into disrepair following Bures passing two years after the completion. The property was eventually sold to the Catalonian government in the 1980s, and later purchased by Bonavista Developments- the current owner who is now offering these magnificent units for sale for the first time in a century.

Many of the properties original elements have been carefully restored to their former glory as part of the extensive work that the building has recently undergone. Heavily inspired by Gaudi’s work and the theme of nature, one will find imagery of flowers, animals, and woodland scenes throughout the exquisite architectural details found at Casa Bures.
